Why you might as well embrace your personal brand

If you’re a freelancer/solo business owner and you cringe at the idea of having a “personal brand” I’m right there with you.

You might have even went freelance because you’re an introvert and the thought of being seen gives you the fear.

What you might not realise is that whatever you’re doing (hiding or putting yourself out there) that IS your personal brand.

You can’t run from your personal brand, sorry!

The way I see it, you might as well put your best foot forward. This involves:

✅  Sharing your real opinions
✅  Sharing your beautiful work (I’m sure it’s beautiful, even if you just do spreadsheet related things)
✅  Networking with your peers
✅  Investing in a professional identity and web presence

This way, at least you get to somewhat control how you’re seen, instead of leaving it up to peoples vague impressions of you.

Trust me - it really is about time to put it out there you’re a hardcore “Homes Under the Hammer” fan (like me).

Risk getting seen by the people that are ready to support and work with you.

What’s the worst that could happen?
