Maybe you don’t need a logo

A logo is one of many possible visual representations of your brand – that’s it. It is not a magical thing that will supercharge your biz.

For that we need to take it back to basics.

A good brand foundation encompasses many things, including:

  • How you write your posts (tone of voice)

  • Your product/service offering

  • The quality of customer service you give

  • Your business values

  • Your overall mission and vision for the future

If your brand is working well for you, you’ll generally be experiencing the following:

  • Regular sales

  • Attracting the type of customers you want

  • A general feeling of business well-being

And if your brand is off the mark – you’ll likely be experiencing the opposite.

If you’re unsure of what the foundation of your brand is, a designer who specialises in brand strategy will help you figure that out.

This will be a holistic process that means you end up with an identity that fully represents what you’re about, adding value to your biz that a logo design alone will not do.
